Works produced from exploration of the liminal spaces we find throughout suburbia. Nature quickly takes back the spaces we neglect or deliberately choose to forget about. There is nothing more discomforting than a space that has fallen from recent use into dilapidation. Traces of human use and misuse inspire fear, speculation and perhaps, the beginnings of neo-mythologies and urban legends.

Cat Chambers is a London-based multidisciplinary artist/printmaker and creative coder focusing on detailed drawings and intaglio printmaking techniques. UAL graduate. RCA 2024

Cat’s work develops from a thorough research methodology which looks to situate often hyper-contemporary subjects within a context of historical and philosophical understanding.
